I was born into the lifestyle and still enjoy it today. I have done full time farrier work, jockeyed racehorses, managed a cattle ranch, and much more all in the pursuit of having my own horse ranch. I am now living that dream with my wife of 30 years and our two grown kids. I started my training career in the reining world and enjoyed competing there over 12 years. I have recently made a move into the Cow Horse arena and have jumped in with both boots, adding cows, pens, and fences to our ranch. I enjoy training, showing, and mentoring others as they seek to improve their riding and show skills. My goal is to become the best horseman I can be and help other do the same. That requires a consistent yet fluid approach to this western life. I am always learning and applying various techniques to get the most from both the horses and their riders. I am always looking for ways to work smart and add value to both our program and the services we offer our clients. He was born and raised in Conroe Texas. He grew up with a love for horses and the cowboy way of life. However, it wasn’t until he was an adult that he would own his first horse and start learning to rope. He’s a jack of all trades and has been guilty of pursuing all his dreams that sounded like fun, TK Cinches is no exception. It all started while he was training at Troy’s house one day. He happened to notice a homemade looking unique back cinch on Troy’s horse. After inquiring about this funny looking cinch, he decided this was a great idea and it needed to be brought to the rest of the cowboys and cowgirls. With some brainstorming and few changes to design, they were onto their creation of “THE” TK CINCHES. Within a month, Cory bought a sewing machine, applied for a patent, researched leather distributers, and started watching videos of leather makers from around the states. It’s been a steep and fun learning curve. He feels extremely blessed to be working on a project that he’s so passionate about.
